Dr. Mancias is board certified in child neurology and clinical neurophysiology, and has been with McGovern Medical School (formerly University of Texas at Houston) since 1996. In his role, he evaluates and treats neonates, children and adolescents with a variety of neurological and neuromuscular disorders. He is actively involved in the training of medical students, child neurology fellows, pediatric residents, neonatal fellows and neurology residents. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. He completed his pediatric training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and his neurology/child neurology and pediatric neuromuscular training at UTH.
